Location
This fantastic accommodation is located in the heart of Faro, only a short walk from the main bus station, marina and old town, Cardeal suits & apartments provide a comfortable base when visiting the Algarve. From the airport you can take a local bus or taxi and within an hour of landing, you can enter your apartment. If you are arriving by car, you will need to request a spot to park in the garage below the building.
Guests are given a code to enter the secured courtyard and their apartment. The apartments are located on the ground and first floors and each has a private entrance from the courtyard.
Apartments
There are 9 stylish apartments, all decorated in contemporary style and with attention to detail. The smallest apartment is a studio and the largest has two bedrooms. All apartments have a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living and dining area, and the bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds and large built in wardrobes. Air-conditioning and high speed Wi-Fi is available in the apartments. Most apartments also have a balcony or some outside place to enjoy the sunshine. There are also places to chill or work in the courtyard.
Facilities
The Cardeal suites & apartments are equipped to meet the needs of walkers and cyclists as well as people who work remotely and want to stay for longer than a few days. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer available for guests. There is a safe place to park the bikes in the garage and a tool station is available if you need to carry out some maintenance work on your bike. There is also an area in the garage where guests can wash their bikes or walking boots.
Dining
There is no restaurant or common eating area in the building, however there is a fully equipped kitchen in each apartment with a coffee machine, a toaster, pots and pans, glasses, a large fridge, a stove and microwave so you can make your breakfast (or other meals if you wanted to). And if you want to go out for breakfast or dinner you will find plenty of cafes and restaurants only a few minutes away.
Accessibility
Lifts to all levels provide access to wheelchair users and most apartments are fully accessible with a large walk-in shower. Please check accessibility requirements with the accommodation before booking.
After spending a few days there we were extremely satisfied with the quality, cleanliness, location and the level of standard the Cardeal suites & apartments offer. Communication and support was fantastic with Claudia who runs the place with real enthusiasm.
